I have recently completed two murals for the new History Center in Cedar Rapids. Here are a few photos to give you an idea of what they look like and their context. These photos were taken while the exhibits were still under construction, so you'll have to use some imagination.

This is a wide shot to give you an idea of the context of the first mural. The exhibition presents the history of Linn County, IA as a 'River of Time', with the outline of the Cedar River inlaid into the carpet. The bluffs at Palisades-Kepler state park are a prominent geographical feature and are used here to explain some of the natural history and prehistory of the area.

a little bit closer now. There will be greenery and stuff at the base.

This is a pretty good photograph of the complete mural. It was a lot of fun working this large.
Except for the being twelve feet up in the air part.

Photographs of the second mural can be found here
