The George T. Henry College Archives houses and preserves the institutional records of Coe College including the records of Western, Leander Clark College, which was absorbed by Coe in 1919. Principal donors to the archives are administrators, faculty, staff, students, and alumni.

The Archive is the repository of College Photographer George T. Henry, class of 1949. His photographs are a pictorial history of the College from 1948 to the present.

Alumni papers include world renowned journalist William L. Shirer '25; Iowa poet and co-founder of the International Writing Program at the University of Iowa Paul Engle '31; and prolific horror mystery and western writer Ed Gorman '68.

Faculty papers include Journalism Professor Ethel Outland '09 (1911-1949), Professor of French and Art Marvin D. Cone '14 (1919-1960), English Professor Signi Falk (1947-1971), and Professor of Physics Steven Feller (1979- ), among many other distinguished faculty.

Student collections include honor theses, student publications, and records and memorabilia of student life.
