| Kathryn Becker ‘07 has been engaged by the Barter Theatre in Abingdon, Virginia, to become a member of its Barter Players - a group of professional theatre artists who perform for young audiences at the theatre April through December and in schools during their January through March East Coast Tour. The Barter Players have been acclaimed nationwide as one of the finest theatres for young people anywhere. The troupe presents high energy and original productions that capture the imagination, intelligence and sophistication of today's youth while providing the best in the classic literature and beloved story adaptation. | |

Kristi Cockrell, 2006 is in her second year of graduate school at the University of California San Diego. She recently joined Actors' Equity, a union for professional actors and stage managers. Earlier this year she worked on the La Jolla Playhouse production of Most Wanted with Michael Greif. Currently she is working on the winter dance show. |

Wendy Hamilton is the Director of Membership at the Joslyn Art Museum in Omaha, Nebraska. She left Coe in 1999 and continued her education at Wayne State University where she earned an MFA in Theatre Management. |

Matthew Hemesath ’01 is a free-lance
costume designer in New York City and a member of United Scenic Artists.
He was recently assistant costume designer for Cymbeline at
Lincoln Center and for the national tour of Jersey Boys.
He works regularly on the wardrobe staff of NBC's The Today Show
and Saturday Night Live as well as on ABC's daytime drama One Life
to Live. In June of 2008, he will design Little Shop of Horrors for

Chris Leyva, an alum of 2001, Chris graduated with an MFA in Playwriting from the University of Iowa in 2006. He is now living in Columbus, OH, where he says he is "bringing home the bacon." His play, Solamente Una Vez, was selected as a finalist in the Kendeda Graduate Playwriting Competition at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta, GA. The play will be given a staged reading this fall in New York City. Chris is also directing in New York this summer.
