The Wilderness Field Station is a unique summer program of biological field study in the Superior National Forest in Northern Minnesota. Classes are small and personal, with no more than eight students per instructor. All courses integrate lectures and laboratory investigation with daily canoe outings. Each class undertakes a lengthy canoe trip into
Boundry Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

2008 Undergradute Schedule and Deadlines

Session I begins June 14 and ends July 12
Session II begins July 12 and ends August 9

Application Deadlines

Applications accepted until classes are filled.

As of April 21, there are still openings in Environmental Law, Animal Behavior, Aquatic Ecology and Nature Writing.


You will receive notification of acceptance 1-2 weeks after submission.
