Alumnae:  Where are they now?

I am currently finishing up my Business/PR/Writing major at Coe this year and have started an internship with a marketing company called Infinity Marketing Solutions. I am also interviewing for a "real job" (no more smelly shoes at Von Maur) and hope to move to Minneapolis or Chicago this spring. I am also hoping to travel to Australia this April for three weeks.

I am currently working at Iowa State Bank & Trust in Iowa City as an Investment Accounts Administrator, which is a fancy wording for "almost-licensed investment almost professional."  I have a wonderful little roommate, also a Delta alum, named Hannah and we live in a fairly cute apartment on Edgewood Road.  I am mostly still single and still very much looking.  A final thought: the real world isn't that great, so if you guys pull off an Anna and stay in school one more year--I totally recommend it!

Hi Deltas!

Life out of school is great. I love coming home from work and doing nothing...no homework...no meetings...just fun or sleep. I'm working at the University of Iowa right now as a nursing assistant and live down in Iowa City. I decided to not go to med school. Mainly because in my job I see what doctor's lives are really like, and I decided I want to have a life outside of a hospital. Plus going back to school forever sounds like a nightmere right now. I don't have a clue about a future career, and no leads sound fun. I'm planning on just working for awhile adn then I'm going to move to Chicago when my lease runs up in July. Hopefully by then I'll know what I want to do with my life. I go to Chicago a lot on the weekends to see Brian so if anyone wants a ride, let me know. Take care!
