Chapter Facts: | Phi Kappa Tau was founded on March 17th, 1906 at the University of Miami Ohio. It became a national fraternity in 1911 with the start of Beta chapter at the University of Ohio. The Iota chapter at Coe College was chartered on January 15th, 1920 and is one of the oldest organizations on campus. Today, the Iota chapter is involved with many charitable causes including the Special Olympics, teeter-totter-a-thon, and carving pumpkins with children at St. Luke's Hospital.
