What's New

The annual report, compiled by our own Amy Marquardt, is now complete and showcases our club and its activities throughout the past year. A few things you may not have known...

• Over the past year, the physics department has sent representatives to more than eight conferences, including such exotic locations as Italy, Hawaii, Hungary, and Minneapolis, Minnesota!
• The "Playground of Science" night - annually hosted by the physics, chemistry, biology, and mathematics departments - was graced by the presence of some 850 visitors! Demonstrations galore pleased the mind and titillated the senses!
• Some 10 publications were authored in the past year by physics club members! Huzzah!
• According to the annual report, the health of our SPS chapter is "excellent!"

You May Not Have Heard...

In a recent development at the departmental website, Dr. Jim Cottingham has taken the lead as the "Most Influential Person in Technology in the Last 25 Years." Doc Feller trails closely behind, with Mario in third. Watch out, though! Dr. Affatigato seems to be making a comeback! See News section for important update!
