Pride Week '96
Pride Week is an annual event at
Coe College
sponsored by the
Coe Alliance
in cooperation with many other campus organizations. Guests are
welcome at all events, whether from other schools or the surrounding
community.
If your school or organization would like to attend Pride Week events, you are
encouraged to contact the Coe Alliance so we
will know to expect you. All events occur on the Coe College campus, unless
otherwise specified.

Coe Alliance Meeting
6:00 p.m., Room C, Gage Memorial Union
Jan and Jennifer, mothers of a Coe student, will talk about lesbian
parenting.
- Marquis Series - "The Several Lives and Arts of Cal Van Vechten"
7:30 p.m., Cherry Auditorium, Peterson Hall
A lecture by biographer Bruce Kellner. Van Vechten, a noted writer and
photographer, is Cedar Rapids' most famous gay man. (Co-sponsored by the Iowa
Humanities Board and the National Endowment for the Humanities.)

A queer scavenger hunt that will take participants across the Coe campus.

A party deejayed by the one and only
Mouser. (Co-sponsored by the Chi Omega
women's fraternity.)
Note: T-shirts, buttons, safe zone signs, and educational materials will
be available at most events.
