Big Event of 2005
Canoeing Trip
The first event of International Club in 2005 was the Canoeing Trip, which took place in September. It was also the first time new and old International Students could get to know one another. After canoeing for the whole afternoon, we had an enjoyable night singing, dancing, and telling stories around the camp-fire.
Chicago Trip
In order to celebrate the Fall break, International Club decided to organize a trip to Chicago. The trip was really meaningful as it was the first time that we could visit a big and famous city of the United States.
Culture Show
Each country often takes pride in their own traditions. In the Culture show night of 2005, International students gathered to perform their traditional music and customs. We had a fun night with passionate dances of Asians countries, with Vietnamese students in "Ao dai" (Long dress), Japanese students in "Kimono", and many other activites.
International Banquet
The Coe College International Banquet of 2006 took place on February 19. It was a special occasion that international students could demonstrate their talents in music and introduce their food culture to domestic students. It was a night of fun, with more than 500 hundred people participating, and a night of mutual understanding.
