Coe's writing program is unique in that it offers writing classes in every field of study, from English to Physics to Music. In order to graduate, all students are required to fill a requirement of five Writing Emphasis courses with a grade of C or better.

As of 2006, Coe offers two Collateral Majors and two Minors in Writing, a General Track and a Creative Track. Click the links below for more information on requirements and course descriptions.
