Writing Scholarship

Writing Scholarships are available for students interested in all areas of study and genres of writing.  To enter, complete your application for admission and register online for the scholarship competition.  In order to be considered for this scholarship, you must submit a portfolio consisting of two different writing samples (non-fiction, fiction, poems, academic compositions, or journal articles) and a two to three page introduction describing yourself as a writer. 

Your portfolio must be typewritten and 5 - 20 pages in length (not including the introduction). Text should be double-spaced (except poetry) and two copies of your portfolio should be submitted on 8.5” X 11” paper. Your name and address should appear in the introduction and on the first page of each writing sample.
