STATISTICS
Statistics is the art and science of gaining information data. A sample
of data is taken from a population and from what is seem in the sample,
conclusions are drawn about the information.
Statistics can also be thought of as the study of variation. To draw
conclusions about a population, we have to understand how the variation
in a sample is related to the variation in the population.
