Illustrations for "A Neighbor's Landmark"

The illustrator was Irving Ramsey Wiles (1861-1948). He received numerous prizes and awards for his work, examples of which are owned by galleries such as the Corcoran and the National Gallery in Washington, D.C.
     "The Christ Child" reproduction appears immediately after "A Neighbor's Landmark" in Century; it is by Ella Condie Lamb (1862-1936). Lamb was a sculptor, painter, and illustrator. She also specialized in mosaic and stained glass. She did the mosaic frieze in Sage Chapel at Cornell University.
