Illustrations for "Law Lane"

These illustrations appeared with the first publication of "Law Lane" in Scribner's, December 1886. They are by William Ladd Taylor (1854-1926). Taylor was a popular illustrator for The Ladies' Home Journal and other magazines. Some of his best work is collected in Our Home and Country (1908).
