In addition to working with Rob Grice, students selected for the 6th Annual Coe College Elementary Honor Band will rehearse with JoAnna Van De Berg, retired director from the Fredericksburg-Sumner School District. The Coe College Junior Honor Band will be directed by Mr. David Law of Vernon Middle School in the Marion Independent School District and the Coe College Senior Honor Band will be directed by Dr. William S. Carson of Coe College.
There is a $10.00 registration fee for students selected to the Elementary Honor Band and a $20.00 fee for students selected to the Junior and Senior Honor Bands. This fee will include dinner for the Junior and Senior Honor Band on April 6, and lunch for the Elementary Honor Bands on April 12. Junior and Senior Honor Band Members who have already paid an audition fee will have that amount deducted from their registration.
All Honor Band participants will have an opportunity to get complimentary tickets to the Coe College Concert Band and Wind Ensemble performance on Saturday, April 12, at 8:00 pm, with guest conductor/composer, Robert Grice.
