Audition Preparation

Singing: auditionees are required to prepare a song of their own choosing from the Broadway theatre repertoire (no more than 64 bars, please!), and will also be asked to sing selected excerpts from Cabaret.These excerpts are available for check-out in the Fisher Music Library.

Acting: auditionees should be prepared to read one or two selected scenes that have been typed up as “sides” and are also available for check-out in the Fisher Music Library.

Dancing: the choreographer will be present at the preliminary auditions and may ask dancers to repeat a short combination.A longer dance audition will occur on Sunday for those attending the callbacks.

Note: do not neglect to look over the selected materials in advance of attending the audition, as it is less likely that you will be considered for casting if you arrive on Saturday unprepared.
