dr. robert marrs, director

Nobody calls him Dr. Marrs except the copy-room staff, and they only call him that because they have hundreds of packages of a kind of red paper called "Mars Red," to the labels of which they added another "r". The rest of us, for lack of a good pun like that, call him Dr. Bob.

where's dr. bob?

Dr. Bob has been the director of the Coe Writing Center since its opening in 1986. Despite this rumored fact, he is rarely -- if ever -- found in the Writing Center itself. We suspect, through careful observation (involving the CWC Security Cam and several hired agents), that he spends most of his time in his office on 3rd Peterson (a thorough government investigation is underway).

Those rare occasions when the lucky student can spot the elusive Dr. Bob in the vicinity of Peterson 154 are celebrated with confetti, marshmallows, and much, much rejoicing.
