Two realities the same and yet so different in spirit. One flat and
lifeless, and one real and breathing topography, a series of curves and
abruptness echoed yet distorted in its neighbors. Inclines and valleys
created by lines and x's as mere representation like comparing the work of
Shakespeare to Cliff Notes.
The x becomes a goal, the pinnacle. You envision the climb. The confusion of the map reader morphs into a lost climber looking for the x among the squiggles. Lost among lines, but not lines, now rocks.
