Writing Scholarships and Writing Center Fellowships at Coe College

So you've been accepted to Coe and are really excited about coming, but your Mom and Dad need a bit more convincing. Scoring some scholarship money is one way to win them over. We proudly offer two writing scholarships for those individuals who have interest in writing and are capable of writing well.

There are two different kinds of scholarships offered within the field of writing. The first is the Writing Scholarship, and the second is the Writing Center Fellowship.

Writing Scholarship: The requirements to win this scholarship, ranging from $1,000 and up, include submission of a portfolio of your writings.
Writing Center Fellowship: The requirements to win this fellowship, in the amount of $1,000 per year, include demonstration of proficiency in writing and proficiency in dealing with other people's writing.

Scholarships in other areas such as academics, foreign language, music, and theatre are also available to students attending Coe. For information on those, please visit the office of admission's scholarship web page.
