Dice Problem: The probability of rolling a 5 or a 6
Approximate Solution Method

Even though we know the exact chance of rolling a 5 or 6 is 1/3, now we will show how you would use simulation to approximate this probability.

Here you will roll 30 dice (which is like taking 30 samples) and count the number of 5s and 6s you roll. This will give us an approximate solution to the probability of rolling a 5 or 6.

Try this simulation several times. (NOTE: The # of 5s & 6s is given)

What did you get for approximate solutions? How close were they to the exact value?
